AI service specialist ESTsoft (CEO Jung Sang-won) announced on the 29th that it had transformed 36 senior community centers in Gimhae into 'Smart Senior Community Centers' using AI Human and held an opening ceremony with Gimhae City last January. 

As a result, ESTsoft's AI Human services have begun to be actively used in the senior care market, thereby enhancing their scalability to more diverse everyday areas. In particular, they recently disclosed the conversational AI Human service 'Perso Live' on their website, allowing anyone to experience AI Human in daily life by providing it on the web and mobile as well. 

This project is part of the 'Smart Senior Community Center' project that Gimhae City has been promoting since last year to create a sustainable elderly welfare environment, and is part of the Smart Village distribution and expansion project led by the Ministry of Science and ICT.  

In June of last year, ESTsoft was selected for the billion-won scale project, and has been working on improving the senior community center environment based on AI Human services. As a result, ESTsoft successfully completed the Smart Senior Community Center project, leading the smartification of 36 senior community centers in Gimhae City.  

ESTsoft plans to continue expanding Smart Senior Community Centers by 50 each year with the goal of progressing Gimhae City's project. There are a total of 566 senior community centers in Gimhae City. In particular, as the demand for senior community center environment improvement is rapidly increasing, ESTsoft plans to expand the Smart Senior Community Center project nationwide using the know-how secured in this project. According to the 2023 Elderly Welfare Facility Status data surveyed by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, approximately 68,000 senior community centers are in operation nationwide. 

They are also intensifying their overseas market strategy. Priority is given to accelerating entry into the larger Japanese silver industry. To this end, they recently signed a business agreement with the Japanese LLM application service company 'SpiralAI' with the purpose of developing a chat service for the elderly. The company has partnerships with Nursing business providers that offer nursing care, health promotion, and other services.​ 

Now, the seniors who visit the 'Smart Senior Community Center' in Gimhae City can experience high-quality health management and leisure programs through various services combined with ESTsoft's AI Human. Prominent services include 'Senior TV', which provides emotional, cognitive, and behavioral education tailored to seniors by singer Tae Jin-ah and 6 O'Clock My Hometown reporter Kim Na-yoon AI Human, and 'Smart Healthcare', which supports health management through testing for body temperature, blood pressure, blood sugar, and body composition, guided by the AI announcer Park Eun-bo. 

In particular, 'Senior TV' is loaded with content produced in collaboration with Yonsei University's Lifetime Sports Research Lab, which is actively continuing research in the field of senior care. 'Smart Healthcare', which began trial operation last November, is currently providing health management services to more than 900 members. They plan to assign health coordinators for follow-up management and health consultations for seniors showing signs of concern in the future. 

In addition, they also provide a 'Welfare Center Live Broadcast' service that allows real-time communication between the live broadcasting studio at the Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Elderly and the 36 'Smart Senior Community Centers'. This service is intended to be actively used to resolve the care blind spots of seniors who have difficulty visiting welfare centers. 

Director Byeon Gye-pung of ESTsoft AI Business Division said, "We aim to resolve social issues arising from aging and income disparity with AI technology," and "we will take the lead in improving the quality of life by eliminating the care blind spots for seniors with senior care services using AI Human."
