ZUMinternet and KB Securities' joint venture Project Vanilla (CEO Koo Dae-mo) announced on the 21st that it has launched the iOS version of the mobile stock trading platform (hereinafter referred to as MTS) 'vanilla'.

'Vanilla' is a stock trading application that anyone can use as easily as shopping, and was released as an Android OS (AOS) smartphone app last June. With only the beta service period, Vanilla, which recorded cumulative downloads of 220,000, is expected to grow even steeper with the release of this iOS version.

Vanilla, tailored for novice investors, provides a differentiated investment experience, such as reducing complex categories unlike existing MTS. Notably, the 'Vanilla Pick' service helps first-time traders choose their stocks, and the 'Shopping Basket' feature allows for easy and convenient trades with multiple stocks at once. In addition, receiving high praise for significantly lowering the threshold of investment experience, it offers an intuitive user experience (UX) and convenience, from account opening to every step of stock trading, based on the brand search function.

The company plans to continue to add various features that enrich the investment experience, including social trading, and to leap forward as the leading domestic stock trading platform.

Project Vanilla CEO Koo Dae-mo stated, "So far, 'Vanilla' has been able to secure over 200,000 users even though it only released an Android beta app and was not yet providing various functions," and added, "With the launch of iOS, we will continuously add various features and reach out to even more users."

Meanwhile, ESTsoft and ZUMinternet signed an MOU with KB Securities in 2019 and established the joint venture 'Project Vanilla' last September. Project Vanilla launched the innovative MTS service 'Vanilla' by combining ZUMinternet's AI, search technology, and vast data with KB Securities' financial expertise.
