Security specialist company ESTsecurity announced on the 16th that it has officially released a powerful integrated antivirus 'ALYac OpenOS' for open operating systems (OS).

ALYac OpenOS has been released to provide a security environment that can respond to active movements to get out of the dependency on Microsoft OS led by the government since the end of Windows 7 technical support in January 2020, and the spread of adoption of open OS in various industries.

ALYac OpenOS inspects and treats malware that has penetrated inside the company based on the technological power of ALYac, which has been verified in Windows and Linux environments.

Administrators can maximize operational efficiency by scheduling inspections and updates according to the company's security policy. It also supports a web-based graphic user interface (GUI) so that general users can easily conduct PC inspections without the help of a professional.

ESTsecurity also launched 'ALYac MyPC Keeper OpenOS' to check and manage vulnerabilities in the open OS environment.

ALYac MyPC Keeper OpenOS is a solution that allows administrators to check various vulnerabilities outside the area of antivirus detection and treatment, and to take appropriate measures when they are found.

An ESTsecurity official said, "We expect that ALYac OpenOS will provide great utility to users who require client security management after adopting an open OS."

ESTsecurity has verified the stability by loading ALYac Linux on the open OS Harmonica. The project was carried out by signing a business agreement with Invesume, an open source company that provides Harmonica, which is a subsidiary of ESTsoft.
