The real-time virtual fitting eyewear shopping mall 'ROUNZ' (representatives Kim Semin, Kim Myungseop) announced on the 23rd that it had won the 'Grand Prize', which is given only to the top 1%, at the 'Asia Design Prize 2022'.

The Asia Design Prize is an international design competition established in 2017, with the world-renowned designer Karim Rashid as the head of the jury. This year, 1,830 works were submitted from 29 countries around the world, and the judging was conducted by a jury of 34 people from 8 countries, including Karim Rashid.

ROUNZ, which won the Grand Prize, has taken as its brand mission 'to make the act of buying and wearing glasses a joyful experience for every earthling', and has expressed its unified design language through artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) technology implemented in the company's glasses virtual fitting and personalized shopping experiences.

The core keywords of the visual identity are 'Borderless', 'delight', and 'diversity'. Based on these, the brand color was named 'ROUNZ Blue', and the brand's service orientation and core experience were visualized so that they can be experienced not only in apps and web but also in offline stores.

In August of last year, they successfully rebranded, significantly increasing brand recognition and app downloads. Currently, ROUNZ leads the domestic eyewear virtual fitting commerce app with a cumulative download of 700,000 and cumulative sales of 20 billion won.
