ZUMinternet (CEO Lee Sung-hyun) announced on the 11th that stock options would be distributed to all employees.

ZUMinternet resolved to grant stock options (stock purchase options) through a Board of Directors meeting, and is expected to be approved at the upcoming general shareholders' meeting, according to an announcement.

All employees who have been employed for more than three months as of May 10th are eligible.

The number of employees granted stock options this time is 72, and the total number of shares is 276,000. The exercise price of the stock options is 6,272 KRW, with a total exercise period of five years starting two years after the grant date.

When converted at the closing price (5,510 KRW) the day before the grant date, the total value of the granted stock options is approximately 1.5 billion KRW, with an average of about 20 million KRW per person.

ZUMinternet CEO Lee Sung-hyun said, "This stock option payment was decided as a reward for the employees' efforts during the process of creating new businesses such as the fintech business, and to share the fruits of success," and "We will continue to work to enhance the concentration on work and improve the working environment through various reward schemes, so that both the company and its employees can grow together.”

Meanwhile, ZUMinternet is focusing on new fintech businesses, including launching the PC and mobile versions of the investment content platform ‘ZUM Investment’, while strengthening its existing portal business.
