AI service specialist company ESTsoft (CEO Sangwon Jung) announced on the 9th that it has signed a business agreement with global stock content specialist company Getty Images Korea (CEO Gunwon Park) to create and sell images using AI technology and promote new businesses.

Getty Images Korea is a company jointly invested by Getty Images International and Imazine, and has global business hubs. It distributes more than 210 million pieces of content domestically, which is the largest scale in the country.

The signing ceremony of the business agreement, held at ESTsoft's headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, was attended by representatives from both companies, including ESTsoft representative Sangwon Jung and Getty Images Korea representative Gunwon Park.

In particular, at this business agreement, the two companies agreed to jointly promote a business to create images with AI technology and distribute and sell them globally. Specifically, ESTsoft will create images with its deep learning AI technology, and Getty Images Korea plans to sell these images in both domestic and overseas markets using its distribution network.

Indeed, before the signing of the business agreement, the two companies successfully completed a test to create new images with deep learning AI technology. ESTsoft has generated high-quality images in a short period by changing faces, makeup, and clothing in character images provided by Getty Images Korea, using ESTsoft’s AI image creation technology called 'AI Persona'.

As the test results were successful, the companies decided to quickly launch a new service to supply AI-generated images to both domestic and international markets. To this end, ESTsoft has agreed to receive a vast amount of image data from Getty Images Korea, and once the data is secured, the companies will officially start working on creating virtual humans and various high-quality images for sale in domestic and foreign markets.

As a result, ESTsoft will further solidify its AI new businesses by adding a new service for the creation and provision of AI images, following ▲the AI virtual human production and operation service 'AI Studio Persona' and ▲the AI glasses virtual fitting commerce 'ROUNZ'.

In addition, the two companies agreed to actively cooperate in discovering new businesses that utilize each company's core competencies while maintaining a strategic partnership.
