AI service specialized company ESTsoft (CEO Jeong Sang-won) announced on the 28th that it has won the 'AI-based Non-face-to-face Senior Life Health Management Healthcare Platform Construction Research' project of the National Rehabilitation Center of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

The project is one of the 14 tasks of the 'Demand-centered care robot and service demonstration R&D project,' and ESTsoft participated in the project in a consortium with healthcare IT company Unimeio and Dongguk University. The project size is about 3 billion won, and the project period is a total of 30 months.

As a result, ESTsoft has accelerated the growth of the 'Senior Care AI Human Service' that it has been aggressively promoting recently. Since it is a research and development project, it helps strengthen the business model by securing sales and enhancing services at the same time.

The purpose of this project is to build an AI human chatbot platform that helps seniors receive life health-related information and manage their health through voice interactions. ESTsoft proposed three research tasks centered on AI humans for this project.

First, the implementation of the 'Senior Conversation Partner Service' using the conversational AI human was proposed as the first research task. It aims to provide seniors with emotional stability and intimacy through communication with AI humans and to alleviate the difficulties they face in operating devices.

The next research task proposed is the construction of a 'Real-time Health Management Service.' The AI human operates in the same living space as the senior, collecting and analyzing life information such as sleep, walking, and food intake, creating an environment that can respond to changing physical conditions at any time, and based on this, guiding the lacking nutrients and activities to help manage health.

The last third research task is to maximize the effectiveness of the 'Senior Entertainment Program' with AI humans. By applying ESTsoft's AI human Tae Jin-ah, produced by ESTsoft, to existing singing classes and dementia prevention cognitive activity classes, it aims to significantly improve the leisure life of seniors.

As a result of this project, ESTsoft and Unimeio have decided to further strengthen their partnership. With the strategy of rapidly expanding the senior care business by combining ESTsoft's proprietary AI human technology and services with Unimeio's years of expertise in the senior care industry.

Meanwhile, in June last year, ESTsoft also won a local government project to transform existing senior community centers into smart community centers using AI human services, which is about 1 billion won in scale, in a consortium form.
