ESTgames (CEO Hyungback Lee) recently announced that it has signed a Thai publishing contract for the MMORPG 'Cabal Red,' which is being developed in-house, with Thailand's GenPlay Co.,Ltd. on the 23rd.

The two companies held a press conference and a media briefing session on the Thai publishing contract at TGS (Thailand Game Show) from October 20 to 22, 2023, in Thailand. GenPlay is a game publishing company specialized in local marketing and distribution.

With this agreement, ESTgames has once again proven the IP power of Cabal in the Southeast Asian market. Typically, international publishing contracts are made after the game is released in the home country. As the release date for Cabal Red has not yet been set, the agreement is being evaluated locally as a high recognition of Cabal brand's influence in the Southeast Asian market and the potential for success in the Thai market.

Currently, Cabal Red is being developed using 'Unreal Engine,' a real-time 3D production tool capable of creating high-performance games. ESTgames plans to carry on the gameplay of 'Cabal Online,' which has been loved by 30 million users worldwide for the past 18 years, and to present Cabal Red as a completely new game by improving its graphic quality, dungeon diversification, and character development system. In the future, they aim to launch globally, starting with South Korea and Thailand.
