AI service specialist company ESTsoft (CEO Jeong Sang-won) announced on the 29th that it won the Excellence Award (KISDI Chairman's Award) at the '1st AI Reliability and Quality Awards'.
The 'AI Reliability and Quality Award' is an event organized to widely publicize the importance of securing the reliability and quality of AI technology, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, and organized by the Korea Information and Communication Technology Association (TTA) and the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI).
ESTsoft won the Excellence Award, which is the KISDI Chairman’s Award, by complying with the '3 Major AI Principles and 10 Requirements' announced by the government in all stages from the development to the utilization of their core services such as AI Human and AI Image, and securing recognition for reliability and quality.
Especially, the 'A.I. Human Lab', which is dedicated to research on AI Human necessary for various industries, selects the performance indicators for the AI Human system based on their quality management system and test requests in operation, manages performance, and responds immediately to problems through continuous monitoring and evaluation. In addition, the data and technology needed for AI Human development is protected by the company’s security technology capabilities.
The '5 Principles of AI Ethics' built by the company are currently being applied in the development and utilization process of their flagship product, AI Human. The main contents are ▲Respecting the dignity of human beings ▲Pursuing the common good of society ▲Recognizing fairness and diversity ▲Complying with social ethics ▲Protection of personal information and data. In addition, they hold the 'Tech Center Conference' annually to carry out training related to AI and to improve the monitoring for system operation.
Recently, they are continuously refining GPT, optimized to minimize hallucinatory effects and provide up-to-date information for the operation of conversational AI Humans. Along with this, they are proactively engaging in activities to secure the reliability of AI technology and its ethical use, such as developing and testing 'Generative AI Detection Technology' to prevent societal issues that may arise from generative AI such as deepfakes. Going forward, videos created in ESTsoft’s AI Human service 'AI Studio Perso' are planned to display watermarks.
