ESTsoft, a software company specializing in AI services led by CEO Sangwon Jeong, announced on the 13th that it has successfully completed the test for embedding the 'Prebuilt AI Human Avatar Video Creation App' (AI Human video creation app) within Microsoft Teams, an effort that has been undertaken since the second half of last year together with Microsoft headquarters.
With this accomplishment, ESTsoft is now able to provide its AI Human avatar service to users of Microsoft's collaborative tool, Teams.
The name of the service introduced by ESTsoft is 'PERSO', which comes from ESTsoft's AI Human video creation service, 'AI Studio PERSO'. PERSO is installed as a video creation app that can be downloaded directly within Teams. Teams provides a variety of extension services in the form of apps to enhance collaborative features.
Using PERSO is very simple. After selecting the basic AI Human characters, video compositions, countries, and voices provided by the service and setting the basics, users can immediately generate the desired video by entering text. Additionally, by uploading a PPT file, you can create a video presented by an AI Human avatar, which can be immediately shared via link or file, thus offering high utility in various collaborative environments.
However, since the service is currently in beta, some of the AI Human avatar service features are restricted. Specifically, the function for generating side images of the AI Human avatar to produce natural videos is limited. Also, the amount of video production is only supported up to 20MB (megabytes) or 10 slides of a PPT (PowerPoint) file. These key functionalities that improve service quality will be further added in the future through an advanced pricing strategy.
Gye-Byung Byun, Head of ESTsoft's AI Business Division, said, "With this project as a starting point, we plan to integrate ESTsoft's AI Human avatars into various global platforms in the future." He also highlighted, "Especially with the cooperation of Microsoft, we will actively deploy into the global market in the most effective way."
With the successful completion of this project, ESTsoft has firmly established its foundation in the global AI services market. In addition, the company has also gained technical know-how for integrating its AI services with Microsoft Azure AI, Azure OpenAI Service, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
